My name is Kevin Isenor and I have been a practicing Catholic all my life. I grew up in a variety of cities across Canada and Germany with my two brothers and one sister as my father was a member of the Canadian Air Force. I almost joined the armed force as well but decided at the last minute to attend university in Toronto. I received my degree in computers and no sooner did I start working than I met my future wife who is an active reader at Saint Patrick’s; we'll be celebrating our 24th year of marriage in a couple weeks and pray for many, many more.
I've tried to answer God's call in various ministries over the years such as pastoral home care, lay missionaries of charity, hospice care as well as the diaconate program and last but not least music ministry, as I am an active member of Saint Patrick's Choir.
I have been blessed with many gifts such as a compassionate heart and analytical mind, good listening skills (although my wife might have something to say about that) and a willingness to share those gifts where needed.
As a member of the Pastoral Council I would make the following a priority:
continued respect and reverence of Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist at Saint Patrick's Basilica,
continued support of our clergy and our faith,
ongoing support for the deep and rich traditions of our parish.
I look forward to serving you in these and other capacities within the council and don't hesitate to stop me and say hello!
