  • WHY REGISTER AT SAINT PATRICK BASILICA

    • Registration is the official way of becoming a member of a parish community. Many people think that because they attend a particular parish, they automatically are registered. Membership requires signing up and formally enrolling yourself in the parish. But it is also more than just filling out some forms. Registration is a commitment to the parish, a way to be included in the religious, social and ministerial activities of the parish.
Registration not only shows you want to belong, but may be necessary for certain benefits, like scheduling sacraments and getting donation statements for tax purposes.

When people who have not registered attend here occasionally, or even regularly, but live within the border of another parish and want to receive a sacrament, such as baptism or marriage, or perhaps enroll a child in the sacramental preparation program, they will be asked for a letter of permission from the pastor of the parish that is closest to them.  This is not necessary if you are registered at Saint Patrick Basilica.
Committing to a parish is much like a commitment to a family, sports team, school or community organization. Just like you want the parish to be there to provide masses, sacraments, education programs and ministries, the parish needs to be able to count on you to help and assist in our mission; to be an active member.

Registering in the parish is a statement of faith and confidence in the life and work of our parish. As parish members, we are all here to help each other on our spiritual journey; we don’t want to do this alone. We need each other.
When a person makes a specific commitment of their time, their talent, and their treasure, it is because they see our parish as their spiritual home.
We need everyone to become stewards of the gifts they have been given by God.   What can you do to support the parish?

      1. Pray!  Please know that your prayers are a welcome gift to your parish.
      2. Get involved in one of our Ministries.  There are many areas in the life of Saint Patrick’s  that are enhanced by the work of volunteers.
      3. Contribute Financially.

For information on how you or your family can register please fill out this fillable form click here and email it to [email protected].

Thank you for registering at Saint Patrick Basilica.
